Recently, Omsk State Pedagogical University took part in the presentation of Russian universities for applicants from China. Novosibirsk Interuniversity Center for International Education (NICE) regularly holds presentations of Russian universities abroad with the participation of various educational organizations from all over the country. The co-organizers were: the Association of Pre-University Educational Institutions of Russia and China, the Russian Cultural Centre in Beijing.
After welcoming speeches from the organizers and Chinese companies interested in establishing and developing cooperation, the universities spoke about admission requirements and study conditions for foreign citizens.
Omsk State Pedagogical University was represented by a student from China, Cong Xiyang. Since 2022, she has been studying at the Preparatory Department of OSPU, successfully mastered the Russian language course and entered the Faculty of Foreign Languages, where she studies English and Spanish.
OSPU has already taken part in similar presentations for applicants from Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Latin American countries.
“Such events help universities attract new partners and applicants from various countries. Many foreign students studies at OSPU. Everyone has different goals, but the University provides students with knowledge and skills that helps them succeed both in their work and in self-fulfilment,” said Liudmila Bevziuk, Head of the International Cooperation Department.
